PSA grading: additional information about order and card data
Service terms version: 2026-09-28-v3.
Scope: This section specifies how the current PSA grading workflow uses personal information. It applies to grading enquiries, the configurator and resulting order, and does not replace unrelated retail privacy provisions. Mandatory privacy rights remain unchanged.
Data in the current grading workflow
- Card information entered in the configurator: name, year, set, card number, language, variant or serial and optional notes, declared value and selected card-only or Dual grading service.
- Submission and card reference IDs, your preparation choice for each card, incoming handover choice, return method, optional outbound insurance selection with the combined declared value, and your optional request to receive a return-protection proposal after grading.
- The terms version, recorded acceptance of terms and accuracy/packing requirements, and your optional early-performance choice. That choice is stored as given; it is not treated as consent to marketing.
- The normal Shopify customer, order, address, tax and payment-status information needed for checkout and fulfilment. The grading configurator does not ask for your payment-card credentials or PSA account password.
- For the dedicated grading contact form: name, email address, request category, order reference where relevant and the details you choose to send, together with the recorded privacy acknowledgement. Categories include information, submission status, special services, return protection and withdrawal.
The configurator keeps a working copy of the submission, card details and selected options in browser session storage so the current session can recover the form and avoid duplicate additions to the cart. Data added to the cart are attached to the relevant order lines and associated with the Shopify order after checkout. A new tab or different device is not promised to restore the same draft.
Purposes, access and sharing
We use these data to respond to enquiries and take steps at your request, prepare and perform the grading service contract, match your cards to the order, calculate the selected services, manage payment, the requested post-grading return-protection proposal, the updated value proposed by staff and agreed with you, and any separately accepted and paid quote and return arrangements, communicate about the submission, and handle corrections, refunds or disputes. We also retain records required by applicable legal obligations. Processing for the requested service is not conditional on agreeing to marketing.
Order and card details are available through the store's Shopify administration to authorised personnel who need them for the service. Shopify processes checkout and store records as described above. We provide PSA with the card and submission information needed to perform the selected service, and provide carriers with the recipient, shipment and delivery details required for the relevant journey. We do not state that every customer field is sent to PSA or that PSA has access to your Shopify payment details.
Information subsequently recorded during intake and return, such as identity/count checks, visible-condition photographs, shipment references and certificate details, is used to identify the entrusted cards, carry out the service and handle any incident. Such operational records are handled by authorised staff; the current order-line workflow does not automatically create a public card gallery, an attached PDF for every order or a live connection to PSA tracking.
Photographs or results associated with your cards are not published for advertising without a separate authorisation. There is no mandatory marketing subscription in the grading form. Retention, security, international transfers where applicable and the exercise of your rights follow the general policy above and the actual services used; no additional automatic retention period is created by this notice.
Contact for grading data
For ordinary questions or corrections concerning grading, use the dedicated PSA grading form with the order reference. Email and social channels are not used for ordinary grading assistance; statutory declarations and privacy rights remain exercisable through legally permitted means. For privacy rights relating to grading, you may use info@cardshub.eu or cardshub@pec.it. The controller is Cards Hub S.r.l., Via Giacomo Matteotti 4, 42122 Reggio Emilia (RE), Italy, as identified above.
Sell your cards: consignment and direct purchases
Updated September 29, 2026. Cards Hub S.r.l., VAT IT03130470358, Via Giacomo Matteotti 4, 42122 Reggio Emilia (RE), Italy, is the controller for this seller portal. Contact for privacy rights: info@cardshub.eu.
The two services use one Shopify customer login. We process seller identity and contact details, card descriptions and certificates, asking prices, selected sales and payout methods, offers, ticket messages, contract versions and authenticated acceptance evidence, delivery arrangements, tracking, verification results and payment records. Bank account details are required only for a bank payout. Staff can add internal operational notes. The accepted inventory and contract remain separate for each service; accepting a direct purchase does not accept consignment terms.
We use this information to evaluate the request and take requested pre-contractual steps, perform the agreement, arrange delivery and payment, meet accounting and legal obligations, and protect against fraud or disputes. These purposes rely respectively on contractual necessity, legal obligations and legitimate interests where applicable. Service acknowledgement is not consent to marketing. The portal saves an unfinished card form on the current device to help avoid losing it; this is not a promise of synchronisation across devices.
Shopify handles customer authentication and store credit. Cloudflare hosts the portal and its database; authorised staff access records through Shopify administration, including through the Cards Hub Codex plugin operating that interface. Private portal data are encrypted at rest. For direct purchase tickets, Aruba sends transactional email notices from info@cardshub.eu. Notices direct you to your private ticket and do not include card inventories, bank details or message contents. Carriers receive the details necessary for a shipment or a requested pickup.
For direct purchase evaluations we store the external photo link and its stated expiry, not copies of the photographs. The selected sharing provider, such as SwissTransfer or WeTransfer, controls its own storage and deletion schedule under its policies. Keep links limited to material relevant to your request. Consignment intake does not require customer photo uploads; our staff prepare listing photographs when required for that service.
Expired photo links do not automatically erase ticket data, contracts or accounting records. We retain those records for as long as necessary for the stated purposes, legal retention duties and the handling of claims, subject to the rights described in this policy. We do not promise deletion after one day or two days for data retained by Cards Hub. Access is limited by customer ownership and staff permissions. International transfer safeguards and other privacy rights follow the general policy above. Ordinary service communication belongs in the portal ticket; statutory requests and privacy rights may still be exercised through the legally available contact channels.
